Account Information

When you sign in via Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive:

• Your name or display name
• Your email address
• Your profile picture URL

Documents and Content

Pro users' documents and uploaded images are stored in our cloud infrastructure. Free users' documents remain entirely local in their browser and are never transmitted to our servers.

Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Usage Data

We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (page views, browser type). This data does not identify individual users.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service (authentication, document storage, image uploads)
• To process subscription payments
• To send important service-related communications
• To improve the Service based on aggregated usage patterns

4. Data Storage

• Authentication and database: Supabase (hosted in the US)
• Image storage: Supabase Storage (images are publicly accessible for markdown portability)
• Payments: Stripe
• Hosting: Vercel

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage and cookies for:

• Authentication tokens (Supabase auth session)
• Theme preferences

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to provide the Service (Supabase for storage, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting).

7. Data Retention

Your account data and documents are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and documents will be removed within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your documents at any time (download as .md)
